Our father has always enjoyed music and recently his Alzheimer’s has progressed. Do you think something like music therapy would be helpful?

It’s absolutely worth a try! Although everyone responds differently to both Alzheimer’s and music therapy, this treatment has shown many promising results. Picking up a pair of cheap, comfortable headphones and finding music online is easier than ever. Sites like YouTube can have a lot of older types of music you may not find on streaming services like Spotify, Pandora, or Apple Music. Otherwise, see if you can find some of his favorite vinyl or CDs available for purchase!
