Although this question is best answered by a medical professional, these two types of arthritis do have some major differences. Rheumatoid arthritis is considered inflammatory arthritis, meaning that internal inflammation caused by one’s immune system or even bacterium, viruses, or fungus can create pain in the joints. Osteoarthritis is mores a result of joints and their cartilage wearing out to the point where the areas become painful. Be sure to check with your doctor regarding any treatment options or remedies!
