Not particularly, but aerobic activities like brisk walking, swimming, and even yoga can be great exercises for older people with diabetes. If you haven’t exercised in a while, start gradually and build your endurance safely. Part of a diabetes treatment plan will include regular exercise because it helps to use up the excess glucose in a senior's body.

Remember that obesity is an associated cause of diabetes, so regular exercise is key to healthy golden years!
