Kegel exercises are a type of pelvic floor muscle exercise that helps build strength in the pelvic floor to better support the bladder and help you manage an overactive bladder. The exercise consists of tightening, holding, then relaxing the muscles you use to start and stop urination flow. They should be done every day and as you strengthen the muscles, you will eventually be able to control them at more reasonable intervals.
