My father just moved into our home. How do I discuss with my own children that they might have to help their grandfather?

Although taking your senior parents into your home can be a difficult situation, remember that it will take a group of caregivers to make the transition run smoothly. Explain to your children that their grandfather just can't do everything he used to be able to. They will need to help out around the house by taking on a few more chores or other duties. Learning to work as a team will help prevent caregiver burnout in the future.
