In most cases, Alzheimer's disease is not inherited. However, a rare form of Alzheimer's disease called early-onset familial Alzheimer's is inherited. This caused by a mutation in the genes and can be passed on through generations. Besides that, there is no concrete evidence that shows Alzheimer's can be passed on through 3 generations.
