This one of the toughest arguments you'll have with your senior. It's important to find a balance between maintaining both your loved one's dignity as well as safety. While it's good that they want to remain active, too much stress on the heart can put them in serious danger. Make sure to stress to your senior the importance of taking it easy every now and then. Hire someone to help with work in the yard or pitch in yourself. It's important that your loved one remains healthy throughout their years.
