Research, research and more research! It will provide you with a strong foundation during an interview. Researching the company’s background, mission, vision and goals will paint a clear picture of the organization. During the interview, this background information will allow you to answer questions more effectively by promoting your skills in alignment with the company’s mission and vision. If unfamiliar with the industry, it would be beneficial to understand the larger picture in which the organization is operating. Being able to demonstrate clear knowledge and a willingness to take personal time to learn about the company will display ambition and desire for the position. This can potentially set you aside from the rest of the robotic resumes and interviewees vying for the same job.
