This disease in and of itself does not cause death, however, those suffering from Parkinson’s do generally have a shorter life expectancy as the condition progresses. Many times, people lose their lives do other ailments caused by the disease such muscle freezing and the loss of voluntary and involuntary functions. People with Parkinson’s Disease also have to be concerned about sustaining falls due to their impaired mobility. It’s a very debilitating disease and hopefully a cure can be found very soon!
