It is, in fact, possible that it’s still broken. While many assume that a broken hip completely shuts down a person’s mobility completely. It is possible that your mother could have a broken hip and not know it. Even the smallest of fractures can eventually cause serious damage to your loved one, so if your mother is experiencing hip pain, it’s important that you seek out help. Hopefully after surgery and/or physical therapy your mother’s hip will be as good as new.
