If my mother goes into a memory care facility, will they restrict how much we visit her?

Great question! While it’s dependent upon the community, most of the time visiting loved ones is highly encouraged. That said, there are some hours of the day which are much more reasonable to plan your visit around, considering things like security and resident privacy. Just be sure to check with your loved one’s community to find the best recommended times to drop in! It’s definitely beneficial to Alzheimer’s and dementia patients to see familiar faces on a frequent basis.
