Well for one, you can revoke the document by literally destroying it if you haven’t already given the Power of Attorney to anyone. However, if you’re the Power of Attorney has been given to an agent, an institution, or is already recorded, then you can execute a document revoking the initial document by having it witnessed and recorded in the same way. This will involve contacting your current lawyer or someone with thorough knowledge of elder law.
