It depends on your fluid intake really, but the average person will urinate every 2 to 2.5 hours. Over the course of 24 hours, normal urinary frequency is about 6-7 times. For people with overactive bladders, it may be more a matter of feeling the urge to urinate, rather than the frequency they visit the bathroom. Consider that overactive bladders can be caused by a variety of different factors, and so the symptoms may vary from one person to the next. If you suspect that you or a loved one might be suffering from an overactive bladder, consult a doctor sooner than later – there is the possibility that there may be other underlying health problems.
