I’ve heard interesting things about how bipolar disorder changes the appearance of someone’s eyes. Does this happen for seniors too?

Yes, it is possible. The various phases of bipolar disorder, mainly mania and depression, can sometimes be associated with the way someone’s eyes present themselves. For instance, the eyelids can become relaxed, or ‘half-mast,’ with someone’s pupils either dilating or constricting tightly. Of course, certain physical qualities of the eye may also be correlated to any medications someone is taking for their condition. For more information on this, be sure to consult a doctor if possible.
