While it is great that you and your siblings are each taking responsibility for your father’s care, it may be helpful for you to designate one family member as responsible for overseeing, though not necessarily providing, all care. This means that one sibling would be responsible for coordination when and who each of you are responsible for caregiving. If this becomes too much or unrealistic, a geriatric care manager can help to facilitate an effective schedule of care. You should also talk to your siblings about who would want to be POA in the case that your father is unable to make decisions for himself in the future.
