That will depend on your independence and mobility. Many senior living communities will allow you to keep a vehicle on campus, but only if you are able to drive it. Not only do you have the freedom to have visitors at your leisure, but you can also travel whenever you want to catch a grandchild’s sporting event or a family dinner. If you are not independent or able to drive, it may be harder for you to be on your own, but there are definitely transportation options in your community.
