Yes, there are benefits that you and your husband can be taking advantage of. You and your husband are likely eligible to pay for senior care with veteran benefits. There are a few requirements that will need to be met depending on what type of benefit you are applying for, however, requirements may include:

  • A veteran must have been discharged from service under other than dishonorable conditions
  • Must have served 90 days or more of active duty with at least one day during a period of war
  • Must be 65 years of age
  • Must be totally or permanently disabled
