Managing medical care is a large umbrella that encompasses a variety of different things. You must be able to handle the financial aspect of your loved one’s financial expenses as well as their physical care. You must make sure you have power of attorney or at least some sort of authority in case your loved one becomes incapacitated. It will also be up to you to figure out a living arrangement for your senior as well as supervision when you are not there. Although it seems overwhelming, many will opt to manage their parent’s medical care so they have complete control and know exactly what is happening with their loved one.
