One way to help your mom stay on schedule is by creating an easy-to-read calendar detailing her appointments and medications for the week. For medications, you can also use a daily compartment tray so that she knows exactly which medications to take and when. Also, if you can, have a relative or close family friend check-in on her from time to time, and when in doubt, give her a call. It will be nice for her to hear from you, plus you’ll be able to remind her about any medications or appointments you are worried she might miss.
