Places like the bathroom and kitchen where wet surfaces may be more common are definitely problem areas for many seniors. Staircases, and other uneven levels within the home also present risks. To stay as safe as you can, always secure carpets, use handrails, keep the floor as dry as possible, and wear properly fitting shoes.
